This school is a small community of really good families and children and it is a small part of the greater community of Bay Ridge. It is has simple and effective academic results. My kids love this school! My son went on to HS and he was accepted to all the high schools he applied to with scholarship ... Read more and honors. This was because of the amazing learning environment he was in. My daughter is happy to go to school everyday. They have lots of activities for the children to participate in both during and afterschool. The families all support one another in a wonderful way.

Our School is excelling in all areas academically. When you come to this school you join a Family and are treated like family. When I go off to work in the morning I have no worries knowing that my kids left in good hands. The teachers are loving and caring. The children are learning and are enjoying it. This is one of the best family oriented schools in Bay Ridge. The kids are pleasant and fun to be around. Its a caring environment and since we got a new principle the students are working harder and the results are amazing.

Sending our children to this school has been one of the best decisions we have made. As parents of 2 younger children I have to say the teachers and support staff have been wonderful. They have help my children adjust to school, made them feel welcome and appreciated and part of a bigger family. Our school has to be one of the last schools that i know that cares about their children. The teachers will do anything they can to reach out to your kid if she is not doiing well. I have not seen that in the other schools i have been to.The new principal has made some remarkable progress. The children love her. I feel good knowing that my kid gets up in the morning and can't wait to go to school. She is treated so well there and she knows it. It's a real good feeling.I would recommend this school to anyone

This is the best school in Bay Ridge, you will not find another one like it. The teachers are wonderful and really care about the kids. We just got a new principal and she is outstanding, The first 2 months of school she made a point to know every kid at school names that made them feel so important. We are one big family, Come join us.

The school has long had a culture of family and so far that has not changed with the change of principal and hopefully it never will. You can see it in the school yard in the mornings where parents and teachers can freely chat together on any matter - the kids, the weather, even babies and weddings - does not matter. Same in the flower pot yard after school. It is about love and laughter - what better atmosphere to learn in?

One of the nicest things about this school is the family atmosphere. Everyone looks out for everyone else's children and it makes a difference when you go off to work in the morning. I never have a worry I know my kids are being taken care of and learning too
