School History

In 2009, the Brooklyn Diocese determined the future of Catholic schools lay in the formation of academies.  In response, Holy Angels Catholic Academy was formed in September 2009 and became the first Catholic co-ed academy in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.

As the forerunner in the area, Holy Angels enjoys the benefit of a select prestigious group of educators, businessmen and women and community leaders to serve as the school's Board of Directors.  The Directors are led by the Bishop, the pastors of Our Lady of Angels and St. Andrew the Apostle parishes and the Superintendent of Schools.
